太行山深处的下伏头村是一个远近闻名的戏迷村。戏迷郑老九闻听省城豫剧团要来县上巡回演出，边自作主张欲出重金请剧团来村里唱戏。不料此举却刺伤了一村之长何留顺的自尊，也把何村长心仪已久的寡妇四婶牵扯进来。。Mike and Danny fly a cropduster, but because of Danny's gambling debts, a local sheriff takes custody of it. Trying to earn money, they hitch-hike to the World's Fair in Seattle and, while Danny tries to earn money playing poker, Mike takes care of a small girl whose father has disappeared. Being a ladies' man, he also finds the time to court a young nurse.。
