故事描写了一对由于灵媒体质而被妖怪纠缠的姐妹，姐姐静流的能力是“见鬼”（看得到妖怪）而妹妹瑞生则是“凭巫”（容易被妖怪附身），而他们可以徘徊于阴阳两界。 不知怎样培育这两个孩子的家庭，决定把他们托付给乡下的祖父母。在乡村平静的生活中，两姐妹从祖父母还有村民那里学习了与妖怪以及自然共存的重要意义，还理解了过去的人们尊重鬼神、敬畏自然的想法，通过植根于乡村生活中的风俗习惯掌握了现代人早已忘记的“珍贵的东西”。。影片以民国时期为背景，围绕富家女阿玥展开叙事。阿玥在发现丈夫及其同伙的阴谋后，毅然选择逃亡，并在过程中与恶势力展开斗争，最终捍卫了个人尊严与民族大义。故事通过女性视角，突出展现角色在困境中的坚韧品质和自主意识。。One day, thinking that it will make your wife and friends smile, you shave off the moustache that you have had for the last ten years.
