1980年代，美苏衝突不慎释放出上万隻潜藏在地球，名为「卓巴」的外星人。不料带有病毒的卓巴引起致命传染病而受到地球军团剷除，卓巴灭绝后，军团随之解散。多年后，昔日军团成员却意外遇刺，疑似尚未被根除的卓巴前来复仇，剩馀的军团成员必须找到彼此，在被卓巴变种人杀死前，找出反击之道。。本剧发生在一个叫做美湖镇的小镇上，某一天突发一种神秘疾病杀死了全镇所有22岁以上的人。当政府当局隔离了整个小镇，将居民留在那里自生自灭后，小镇权力真空后的故事（大家字幕组 @翻译没存在感的人）。。A documentary potted history of WW2, the novelty here is that most of the film has been "colorized". The maker does not like to use this word and prefers to say "restored" but to all intents and purposes it is seeing the war in colour that makes it more gory and emotional.
