工作以外的生活能力全无的28岁OL福泽幸来在雪天捡到了一只快要冻死的小黑猫，取名为福泽谕吉。 被捡回家那天，看到住在垃圾屋里也不在意、性格大剌剌，却仍旧帮他打扫出一个温暖小角落栖身的幸来，他忽然发觉也许比起被这个人类照顾，这个人类更需要别人照顾(？！)因此觉醒了从流浪猫到家猫的必要转变——他有了家，他要顾好这个家！ 谕吉开始勤奋地学习人类知识、打扫技能、烹饪技巧……最后成为一只家事万能的大猫猫，把主人从废物给养成了废物中的废物。 人类越废，猫就越会！平凡的(？！)人猫相处日常漫画！。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
